I love sci-fi. At 19 a semi truck ran an intersection and ran my car over. So, I am sorry to say that I am not an athlete. I get around and walk again, so life is great. I love research. I think that I might be a nerd because I am a Dr.Who fan. I love doing things that are science oriented. I love rock and gem digging, Visiting museums are fun. I love theme parks, but prefer the shows to the rides. My favorite activity is relaxing at home. I watch TV, read, and play with my dogs. My brother has two children that I spend a lot of time with, ages 3 and 6. I never had children, but love them. Which is why I teach. I teach undergraduates at SCF. I am of Norwegian decent, so I am thick headed.
What I am looking for
I am looking for a friend. Someone who will tolerate my sct-fi TV and movie watching. Someone who likes some of the things that I like, but has his own interests. I will talk about anything except sports. Really. If you like sports, great. But there is no rule that says I have to. If you spend time at my house, understand that my dogs are my family. They love everyone. I am fiercely independent, just go with it. I am smart, I have to admit it. I am obsessive, which can be good. I finished dissertation in less than six months. Then rewrote it three times in another two months. I love learning, so talk away.
